Epiphone elitist casino11/15/2023 ![]() ![]() In recent years, the Casino has seen a resurgence in popularity thanks to its appearance in several high-profile films such as “The Hangover” and “Ocean’s Eleven”. ![]() Lennon was especially fond of his Casino, using it on many of The Beatles’ most iconic recordings, such as “Revolver” and “Sgt. Over the years, the Epiphone Casino has been used by many famous guitarists, including John Lennon, George Harrison, and Paul McCartney of The Beatles. However, the Casino had a few unique features of its own, including a Bigsby vibrato tailpiece and an Epiphone logo on the headstock. The Casino featured many of the same specifications as the ES-330, including the semi-hollow body design and twin humbucking pickUPS. In 1961, Epiphone released their version of the ES-330, which they called the Casino. It was made famous by The Beatles’ John Lennon in the 1960s and has since become a popular choice for jazz, blues, and rock musicians alike.
